Lemon Thyme Patties

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ib ground turkey
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh thyme
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • zest and juice of 1 lemon

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, thyme, pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, olive oil, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Use your hands to form patties about the size of your palm. This recipe will make 6-8 patties.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Cook patties until golden brown on both sides, being careful when you flip.
  • Set aside to cool. Work in batches until all patties are cooked.
  • Serve by themselves or as burgers!
